Huancuilou, the monument park
Huancuilou was first built in 1489, in a grandiose and sophisticated Ming and Qing dynasty style. It has become the symbol of Weihai embracing the history and culture of the city. It has a backdrop of green mountain in the west, and overlooks the blue ocean to the east. The monument park offers the view of blue seas, surrounded by the blue light. In the east of the park, there is a statue of Deng Shichang who was a national hero. Nowadays it has become a place for locals to relax and exercise.

Marine Park
The park, opened on June 1, 2000, is located on Haibinnan Avenue. It is adjacent to Weihai Bay which stretches out from the Siping Road in the north to Pingdu Road in the south. The total length is about 3.2km. It has become a new tourist attraction by creating a picturesque eco-friendly cultural space in the background of the blue sea and greenery. The park covers an area of 465,000 square meters and features four themes of Haiya, Hairen, Haisong, and Haihui, adorning the cultural plaza in the center. The Theme Plaza provides locals with a clean and comfortable relaxing space by creating green spaces along with sculptures symbolizing each theme.
Weihai International bathing beach
Weihai International bathing beach is located in the north of Weihai hi-tech industrial development zone. It is 2800 meters long from the east to the west. The total area of the beach is 48 hectares with 29 hectares of sand beach, which can accommodate up to 100,000 guests at the same time. The beach is one of the major beaches selected by the Chinese maritime authorities. The sand beach here is long and wide, and the flat underwater grounds pose a low risk to bathers. The sand is shiny, transparent, and uniform. The sand is so clear that it calms the mind, and is adequate for sports such as beach volleyball or sand soccer.
Xinyehuaxia Castle
Every year performances are held in the Huaxia Castle, a governmental tourist district, from May to October. The venue can hold up to more than one thousand guests. Hundreds of cast members appear in the backdrop of natural, artificial scenery where seats rotate 360 degrees and change from time to time.
The theme of the 5,000-year history of China, and civilization displays gorgeous and magnificent scene.

Liugong Island National Forest Park (Sino-Japanese War Museum)
Liugong Island National Forest Park is a site of Sino-Japanese War. With a total area of 3.15 square km, the distance of the island from east to west is 4.08km, and 1.5km from north to south. The distance of the coastline is approximately 14.95km. The island is 5km away from the Weihai beach. The National Forest Park was used as a fortress to fend off Japanese pirates during the Ming dynasty, and as a naval base during the Qing dynasty. It was also called as "unsinkable warship" during the Qing dynasty.

Chisan Fahuayuan (Jangbogo Memorial)
The Fahuayuan, which hosts the Jangbogo Memorial, is located on the easternmost point of the Shandong Peninsula. This tourist complex has 10 historical sites including Fahuayuan, Paradise Bodhisattva, Chisan Temple, Fahua Pagoda, and Jangbogo Memorial, and 48 other tourist attractions. The Fahuayuan is a Buddhist temple first built in the year 824.

Chengshangtou
This place sees the Sun before any other place in China, and is recognized as the “place where the Sun rises.” Qinshihuang, the first emperor of China, called this place the “end of skies.” Chengshangtou, made of strong red rocks, boasts amazing scenery of romantic waves and dramatic cliff.
The area is 2.5 square meters and it features various cultural sites such as Shihuang Temple, various gazebos, rocks, and so on

Weihai Zoo
Surrounded on three sides by mountains and facing the sea on one side, Weihai zoo consist of 3,000 animals representing 200 species. The zoo was established to provide the guests with a feeling of returning to nature and experience wilderness by fully taking advantage of natural conditions. In this natural reserve, seagulls glide around and the ocean waves bring the smell of the sea; guests can see crocodile feeing, English-speaking parrot, panthers on the trees, mountain goats among the rocks, and other predators. Weihai Zoo is a place of fun and laughter where children and adults can enjoy and create memories which will last a lifetime.
Tangpo Hot Spring
It is located in Wendeng Economic Development District, and has been designated as an AAAA-class tourist attraction by the Chinese government. The hot spring has a highest temperature of 71 degrees Celsius, with clear water that does not dry all season. There is one deep spring where the water can be eaten directly. There are about 60 hot springs in the district, with fully furnished facilities for the tourists to enjoy hot springs all seasons.

Shengshuiquan
Shengshuiquan is the founding place of the Quanzhen School of Taoism located in Longhceng, the easternmost city in the Jiaodong Peninsula. It is called Shengshuiquan, as there is holy water in the temple grounds.
This Taoist temple has a history of 800 years. It is where Wang Chongyang, one of the founding seven disciples of the Quanzhen School, studied.
The temple is filled with trees as old as the history of the temple. There are many attractions such as high gazebos, buildings, and shrines.
The holy water that heals diseases, China’s only thousand-year old gingko tree and 260 meter-tall monument are one of the most popular attractions.

Yantai Fisherman’s Wharf
It is the only theme park in Yantai with European-style architecture. It features Haichang Whale and Shark Aquarium, gourmet street with unique Chinese restaurants, a hot spring with high-quality water, and amusement park for children.

Yantai ChangYu Wine Museum
It is a museum built in the place where ChangYu Corporation was founded in 1992. It consists of an underground wine cellar and an exhibition hall built about 100 years ago. The underground storage room was 7m deep and was commissioned in 1894 and completed in 1903. It was the largest underground storage room in Asia at that time, and it has thousands of oak boxes. The exhibition hall is composed of a general building, a history hall, a modern building, and a calligraphy hall, which systematically displays the history of ChanYu's alcohol culture boasting a history of one hundred years and the order of wine brewing arts.

Kunyu Mountain
Kunyu Mountain is the highest mountain in Yantai, and it has a reputation as an ancestor of mountain. Legend has it that a good fairy, Margo, trained in the kunyou Mountain and flew to the sky. This is also the birthplace of Quanzhen Taoism. Wang Chongyang and his disciples, Buk Chil-jin, founded here the Quanzhen Taoism. The sunshine penetrates into the misty mountains and it reminds people of a spiritual ground as well as The nine waterfalls of Kuryongji are pouring out and connecting the mountain.Taibo Peak is the highest peak of the Kunyu Mountain, and is the highest point in the Jiaodong Peninsula. The view from the peak of mountain encompasses all of the surrounding mountain as well as glimpse into the ocean.

Yangma Island
Yangma Island is derived from the Qin Shi Huang, who saw horse running in lush vegetation and called it was a good place to raise horses. The Tianma Square in Yangma Island is famous for its various sculptures that show the history of Yangma Island. There are "Jin-Hwang Chil-jun", a symbol of the Yangma Island, and "Twenty-two Hongju Jin," made of 28 red pillars. You can also feel the majesty of the Qin Shi Huang Bronze Statue, 5.4 meters high, surrounded by inscriptions written by the history of the Qin Dynasty.
